For a novel modular office pod, we used CFD to study indoor air quality and thermal comfort, testing supply/return strategies, diffuser selection and ventilation rates against contemporary comfort expectations. The geometry captured occupant loads, equipment heat sources and likely leakage paths; boundary conditions represented realistic usage patterns and ambient conditions. We compared alternatives (displacement versus mixed supply, grille placements and flow‑rate set‑points) focusing on temperature stratification, fresh‑air distribution and draft risk in occupied zones. Mesh and solver settings were selected to resolve near‑field jets and occupant plumes reliably; targeted sensitivity checks improved confidence in relative performance between options. Results were delivered as clear plan/section maps, velocity vectors and comfort indices that make the physics intuitive for design teams. Recommendations prioritised changes with high benefit‑to‑effort, such as diffuser repositioning and modest set‑point adjustments, supported by a path to validation testing. The study provided OrangeBox with a pragmatic, standards‑aware basis for product refinement and customer communication, while keeping the model reproducible for future variants.
